Epithets are special titles given to players for compeleting certain tasks. There are 4 types of epithets; Quest, Adventure, Clan and Slaying. Epithets give special bonuses to players and help in various styles of gameplay depending on the epithet and its respective bonuses.

Quest Epithets[]

These are obtained by completing certain tasks for NPCs and are generally common to all players. While there are differences in the names of the epithets depending on if you are a memeber of a black or white clan, the bonuses are exactly the same, and are gained by doing the exact same respective quest. A player may possess up to 50 quest epithets at any one time. A player can also gain "Heroic Epithets" by reaching #1 on a heroic episode quest leaderboard. Event epithets are gained by completing a special quest during an event that lasts several days (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc). These epithets can still be used after the event or holiday has passed.
