This was a relatively important patch, as it changed the way PvP worked for Hybrids. The paranuke effect time was decreased from 5 seconds to 2 seconds, preventing the technique known as paralocking. Many players argue that Acclaim acted against a survey they created, where the majority of players were against the 2 second effect, but more players were in favour of the 2 second effect than any other. (The categories were: "In favour of no change", "In favour of some change, but not necessarily 2 seconds" and "In favour of 2 second change")
